The stock viggen rims are standard cast aluminum, which you can confirm as being soft. I have some BBS forged wheels that they claim are approx. 300% stronger than cast wheels. I suggest going with cast aluminum 16" wheels with taller tires to protect them.. or larger forged wheels with lower profile tires. If you have huge potholes up there you might even want forged 16"! They do make strong cast wheels but they're only strong because they used extra aluminum for the structure, which makes them that much heavier.
