In September 2003 I was shopping for a Viggen, I found a bunch. The best deal I found was a 2001 5 door with 23k miles at a, you guessed it, Acura Dealer. The guy could not sell it and wanted it gone. He offered me the car for $22k. I said no. I don't really remember why, but I wanted pre-owned certification, plus I was worried the car could have had a problem. So I kept shopping, and I found the same car ended up at a local Saab dealer -- the Acura guy sold it off to the Saab dealer at wholesale. I bought it from the dealer at $23,500 -- including pre-owned certification. So you CAN do better.

FWIW, I am now buying new tires at about 30k miles, and I will need new pads & rotors in about 5k miles. All has been great.
