...dealer, but as a consumer, I look to them (and the manufacturer) for ANSWERS, not a shrug of the shoulders! They built it, they are the subject matter experts, they should know how their product works inside and out, I would think ESPECIALLY since the symptoms are so specific. For example, how many components can control the dash lights resetting and the gauges the fluctuate? I'm no expert, but I'd start looking at this area for problems. Grrrrrrrrr!
I appreciate the comments, I really do! I'm just floored that they need my vehicle to duplicate the problem in order to figure it out. I wonder, are they liable if they give me the car back and I end up crashing it because the engine dies while driving?
