It's underneath the car, sorta under the right-rear seat. Lay on the ground, poke your head underneath just forward of the right-rear wheel. If you want more room, lift that corner & take off the wheel. Make sure the car is supported properly.
It's a silver can, maybe a bit bigger than a beer can. There's banjo fittings on each end; when you get a new filter, make sure you get new seal washers, there's 2 on each end.
It's maybe a little awkward & messy, but not too difficult. Have enough rags to soak up the gas that comes out when you disconnect it. No smoking...
