You will need a DIN cable to run from the head unit to the amp. Reference the Saab Audio Guide and click on the "Fitting Hints" link on the left.
the Pre out diagrams each pins function. As you can see, you must have this cable as it supplies both line-level audio and Amp On signal. Hopefully, you have it. If not Saab wants something like $85.00 - problem is, it has to have the 90 degree elbow on the end that plugs into the head unit. I understand some Saabers here on the BB's have had them made, but it's a little hard to find a DIN cable with a 90 on one end. Any 8-pin Din with the 90 end will work, nothing special about the Saab cable.
