I posted a bit ago on how my dealer (massey saab of Orlando) tried to charge me 20k for a 2000 base model 9-3. Due partially to their teratment of the issue and some persuasive discussion, we negotiated a price of 11k. Part of the deal was that they would remove my amp and speakers from my old trunk and install in the new. Also, they would remove my old brakes (X-Drilled Zimmermans) and gice them back along with my XM Radio. Ok, so they took my amp out and my rotors, but they kept all the wiring for the amp (including the speaker cables that went to the sub, and decided last minute that they wouldn't reinstall or even give my my XM radio back. They told me that if the XM were uninstalled that they radio would no longer function. I told them that was a load of crap and they offered to let me go back and remove it myself. That's when my sales person showed up. He got it all cleared up for me. Unfortunately they can't reinstall anything, but I can do it myself. So I picked my car up from service where it had been sitting for 10 days with a busted slave cyl. My service tech (guy fisk) did a walk-around of the car to find every little thing he could to be replaced under warranty. I've just never had such a hassle as this at Massey. My family has spent over 200k there over the life of the dealership and we're known by name by most of the salesman and all. They've been very nice to us in the past, but I'm assuming that they tried to rip me off due to the fact that I am 21. just venting.... I get my XM back today.... but then I have to install it. Oh yeah, and my CD player broke 2 miles off dealership. Grr.
