Glad to hear I'm not the only one with the noisy struts (in cold weather). My hatch struts don't work so well in cold weather either. The one thing that bugs me though is the emergency brake sticking! Maybe I'll take your advice and head over to Herb Chambers. I usually go all the way up to Saab Nashua North in Merrimack, NH (it's where my family and I have always purchased all of our saabs).
Another question......whenever it is damp outside (rain or snow) I have a damp musty smell inside my car, even before I start it up! I've had it looked a several times and they can't find a leak anywhere. They pulled up the carpeting and went behind the center (doesn't have anything to do w/the seats because they are leather and don't retain the smell.) Any suggestions? Have you folks experienced this as well? It's pretty disgusting, and the car has never been smoked in so I know that is not the issue.
