Straight antifreeze will not provide the same boil over and freeze protection as a mix of antifreeze and water. Also straight antifreeze will speed up corrision in the cooling system. 50/50 is perfect for just about everybody in north america. A 70/30 mixture can be used for the most freeze pretection but is still not neccessary, even with these temps. Since you are just topping off, chances are you have 50/50 already and the straight antifreeze would mix to form a more concentrated mix like 60/40 etc... so you will be ok... assuming you are at 50/50 now. Id still try to go 50/50 when you add. You can buy antifreeze testers to test concentration and freeze protection at any auto parts store if you are unsure of your current mix percent. Its not brain surgery, I usually just fill a can half full by eye with AF and fill the rest with water.
Also, brands like PEAK have pre-mixed 50/50 ready to pour from the bottle. Id go with that if you are in a pinch for time.
I use Saab Blue coolant.
