Reverse mounting SE rocker panels

The SE rocker panels to me always seem to flare more in the front of the car then the rear. I have decided to try to reverse mount the rocker panel to give the flare in the rear of the car to give it a more aggressive look. Personally I think it just looks better as well.
I have so far taken off the rocker panels and tried to reverse mount them, but it seems that I would need to create all new mounting holes for it to work. In all there is about 10 holes that need to changed to allow for this. I'm going to try to use a single punch hole puncher and some shears to remove the excess trim to allow for the rockers to fit.
Has anyone else done this before?
I've also tried to attach a picture of a 9-3 from the classifieds to help point this out more.
