If your vehicle has gear type hose clamps, retighten all. The rubber yields under the clamp and the clamping force drops off. This can lead to leaks, more so with the smaller hoses. Spring clamps do not have this problem. At the expansion tank too, and around the throttle body which has a coolant heating loop. Mess of clamps near the thermostat too. Two clamps at firewall for heater, best accessed from under the vehicle.
The pump connects to the block with a floating adapter and two o-rings. The o-rings get hard and then they leak. For all the labor to R&R the pump, best to replace the pump, not just the o-rings. You can DIY this. Search ng900 BB for drs<underscore>install and look for the cooling system posts.
Look around and under vehicle for coolant stains. Look under vehicle 1/2 hour after shutdown. Look for pools on top of trany. Around the t-stat. At the block where pump adapter is. You can see, barely, in there from the top woth a flashlight. Leaks there come down around the oil filter mount.
Seal gasket for reservoir cap in decent condition.
