I bought an 00 9-3 base this summer and had it in for 30K service last month, so in a similar position.
30K is a major service and should be detailed in owner's manual / warranty guide.
A dealer should be able to fix anything that is not working or not working well under warranty.
If you have a manual transmission, see whether the dealer will upgrade to the newer MTF0063 fluid under warranty. Made shifting a lot smoother for me.
I got a new integrated key-remote from dealer; car came without any remotes. Seems to only work over a short distance, which is fine by me. Don't know whether warmer weather will make any difference.
Back of the manual will list some of the electronics tweaks (Tech II) dealer can do, and should do for free under warranty. I had the "Test Brake Light" idiocy deleted. The remote locking chirps can be set to loud, quiet or none.
If you have a base 9-3, there may be no speakers in the doors. Saab list price for them plus an supplemental amplifier is something like $550.
Hope this helps.
