I've been going to a garage that specializes in Saabs since 1986. In April of last year I bought through them a 99 9-3 turbo auto. There was warm air but no cold air coming out of my ACC. They replaced the A/C Compressor, and yes, it was expensive! The morning after I picked up the car, it was blowing warm air at 68 degrees auto. I took it back and they lubricated some "door". ACC worked fine for one week. Now, if the car sits for more than 15 hours, I get no air out of upper vents, just lower, when I turn the engine on. After 5 minutes, warm air comes out of the upper vents, after half hour on the highway, everything is cool and working fine. The car is supposed to go back in the garage Monday. Any ideas, Dean? Also, this car had 4 new Glisaved tires on it when I bought it. One got damaged, and I just found out through Costo (having a tire sale) that the garage replaced it with a V-rated tire, when the others are all Z-rated. Both tires on the passenger side are badly worn on the inside, and the garage never said anything to me. I'm thinking of having Costco replace the tires, but they can only get Bridgestone or Michelin. Any suggestions?
