The fan bearings or brushes/commutator are probably at fault. Remove the fan and take the motor apart. Inspect brushes etc and clean/lube bearings as best you can. Others have rescued the bearings. Replacement motors are not cheap.

The AC compressor may not be working. The system will not run the compressor if the system has leaked and pressure is too low. There is a pressure switch for this. There is a wire from the compressor and a connector at the rad side tank at the RH headlamp. You can jumper power to that and if the compressor runs, then you know that the electic clutch works. Do not do more than test this that way. Adding refrigerant can increase pressure to the point where the system will run the compressor. You then have had a leak, perhaps slow, perhaps will not hold regrigerant at all. There are many places where a leak can occur, hosed, hard pipes, condensor. You can remove the grill and look for damage to the condensor. There was a problem with vibration and chafing of an AC hard pipe below the battery tray area. That can wreck that pipe.

The ACC control may be perfectly fine. The fan speed control modules can fail, the the squeeking suggests that there is a mechanical problem with the fan motor. A stalled motor with power applied might overheat and become damaged. So best to not ignore this. Don't run with low speed settings where the fan is stalled.
