2000 Black 2dr - Ocre interior

87,000km

Very happy. I have got over 650km on a tank, but usually in the 550km range.

Had the DI cassette go. Water pump leak. Thermostat. Front rotors wore out at 50k. Replaced pads with Hawk's street pads. Rotor wear looks much better with them. Rear pads still stock, rear rotors look fine. I think all four wheels have slight bends despite never hitting a curb and only hitting a few bad potholes. That's a bit of a irritant. But it doesn't shake or vibrate on the highway so the out of balance doesn't seem to be a big deal.

Also had the AM radio reception looked at - it has been horrible from day one. The dealer said they replaced something, but it still isn't all that great.

Replaced the original Dunlops (which I hated) with Toyo4's. I like the Toyos but I wish I went for a summer tire. Running Pirelli SnowSport 240's in the winter and I love them. Had for 3 seasons, this might be their last. Thinking Michelin Pilots for next winter.

Still on warranty. Extended to 6years. I'm glad I did, the little things have already added to more than it cost. Very happy with the car. Would like to add something like the Viggen Rescue Kit, but I can't see having less ground clearance.

I asked the dealer about the head bolts, they said it was a '99 issue only. Is that true?
