When I purchased my 2000 Viggen with 49K on the clock, I was offered an extended 7yr., 100K mile (max on the odometer) from Wynn's for $2500. I researched the company and asked dealers and indie's alike about their payment performance and customer service. I was comparing them against two other companies that I located on the web. Wynn's had the broadest coverage, and longest time wise. I bought the Wynn's extdended warranty.
And just today, my indie mechanic charged a new DI cassette, plus shop rate labor (no discount), and was paid 98% of billed charges. He had to make one phone call and fax the signed invoice. Wynn's paid him one hour later, using a credit card (thus the 2%). I'd have to say that Wynn's is a top notch warranty company, based on my research, anecdotal information from dealers and indies and from their payment turn around today.
However, we will see what happens when I have to replace the head gasket and head bolts in a month or two.
