You have an exhaust leak there as the stud has busted off. The stud tension plus getting worked back and forth by the expansion of the manifold can make them break. Remove the het shield and see if others are bad. Some have used a stud extracter kit and removed the stud without removal of the manifold. So that assumes that the gasket is ok. Why does it leak? Because the the pressure there when on boost is around twice as high as the boost pressure. So if 15PSI boost, 30PSI exhaust.
