For tha last 2 months the CEL has been on and off in my '00 base. I'm now convinced that its beacause i left dishes in the sink or because i forgot to take out the trash! It comes on at radom times wether i'm at a stop light or doing 80 on the highyway, it doesn't coenside with any condition or what i'm doing with the car. I can't remember what the code was when i got it pulled last month, the light went off 2 min out of the parking lot of the local autozone, so i didn't think to much about it. And again today on my way back from a short drive to NH the light went back off before i got to autozone, had the woman hook up the obd 2 anyway and nothing, she said it was fine. i guess those won't display stored codes? anyway as i remember that last time it had something to do with the evap system. Can anyone point me in the right direction of what to look for? that light has been on and off 10 times in 2 months and the car never acts any differntly, and yes my gas cap is on tight. sorry that was so long, thanks
