CEL Faults
I been working on the following trouble codes for some time now and could use some advise as where to go from here. The codes are P0132, P1172 ,P0300 and P0125. I have cleaned the TB and the IAC valve .I have also determined the canister purge valve is ok.. I have replace the PCV check valve, nipple and the bushing . I have replaced the thermostat NTC sensor and the front O2 sensor. I have replaced the spark plugs and the vacuum lines. The symptoms are when the car is cold some times the idle will fluctuate from 1000 to 1500 rpm for about 3 minutes then every thing is fine or when I get to a speed of about 50mph the car will hesitate for a about 5 secs then all is fine. This will usually only occur once. If I clear the CEL by pulling the fuse or the battery cable it takes about 60 miles for the light to come back on. I have determined that this is not mileage related but based on the total run time of the engine between CEL clears . At this point I am all out of ideas as what do next. I don’t want to start replacing $300 parts
(DI cassette ) unless I ‘m sure . Any thoughts as to how to trouble shoot this would be appreciated. Thanks Paul
