"Nothing hit me and I didn't hit anything" you claim, and to the best of your knowledge, that's accurate. Can you say you were looking at your OnStar shark fin the whole time and that perhaps no one unintentionally, or perhaps on purpose, didn't wack it with whatever and break it off? It didn't just break by itself.
Now a good set of "puppy eyes" may find a Saab service advisor at a weak moment and you may get it covered under warranty, but I do suggest you nod or wink when you swear it broke all by itself.
