Can someone help by looking at their downpipe for me...

The dealer tried telling me that the exhaust is bent (pushed forward) on my wife's '00 SE Convertible. They said that the downpipe is up against the a/c line which it is barely touching, but looking at the mount at the bottom of the downpipe before the cat, it all looks straight. I'd imagine if it was pushed forward that the little flat metal mount would be twisted, which it's not. Can someone take a quick peak at their '00 SE and see if their downpipe is sitting against or really close to the A/C line? You can see it from above if you pop the hood and look down from where the downpipe is coming out of the turbo. On mine, the downpipe is barely sitting against the a/c line, and there's about 1/2 inch space between the downpipe and the engine. My '99 base is different there, so that didn't help me! I'd like to know for sure that the dealer is trying to screw me out of $1000 for a complete new exhaust system.
Thanks in advance for your help!
