I stick with Lexol and I'm gonna try Leatherique as soon as it gets warm. Vaseline is a petroleum jelly, so I don't know how much would be absorbed by the leather, and it would trap dirt in the fibers of the leather. Leatherique supposedly cleans the leather too and conditions it. Not to mention the fact that vaseline would be awfully greasy to apply and sit on :(
I did a quick search over on the Detail BB and no one mentioned using it on leather over there. Might wanna post your question over there to see if the experts know better than I.
