I've had the occasional blue smoke on startup, here's what I think MINE was...
Follow the rubber duct from aircleaner towards turbo. There's an aluminum elbow turning down to the turbo. Top of that elbow is a steel line with a banjo-type fitting. That's part of the crankcase vent, & I was getting oil thru there. The dealer said they checked the turbo shaft seals & they were OK.
You have CPO warranty, right? Instead of the vent mod, see if they'll take off the pipes & inspect the turbo shaft bearings/seals.
They DID the crankcase vent mod to my car, & the blue smoke stopped. But now the oil fill tube is part of the vent system, & I get some condensation there. So I'm considering reversing the mod. I'd rather have the occasional smoke as long as I know the turbo bearing seals are OK.
