I just went through the list yesterday...the major points are:
1. Serpentine belt (possibly a pulley or two)
2. Plugs
3. Major fluid changes (oil, brake fluid, coolant)
4. Filters (Air, Fuel and Cabin air)
Everything else on the list is just safety checks....really. My local dealer charges $800 for the service. Which is of course outragous. I was forced to go there yesterday out of time constraints. I had a really noisy idler pulley that I didn't want to play around with on my weekly commute to NYC from south of Boston. So....I picked the major things off of the list and had that done while I was there for considerably less. I was at 600300 so some of the stuff had to be done.
Anyway...enough about my car...the above are the major things out of the owners manual.
If I forgot something...please add in.
