I have been running the Cooper Zeon on my 1999 93Se and my 1989 Porsche. I think they work great. To be honest I don't beat on them but I do like to make them corner from time to time. I am just your general zipping around town type of driver. I don't do 100 on the interstate or 70 on back country roads. I find there are way to many cops ready to give you a ticket.
What I look for is a tire that stays balanced and handles firmly and smoothly. I don't want to feel that they are there. I don't want to feel any vibrations or steering wobble.
So far these tires have done that with just routine tire pressure adjustments and rotation.
It also helped that they didn't cost an arm/leg. If you are looking for something more aggressive, ther are probably other choices. But it all depends on how hard you want to drive.
