Front heated oxygen sensor, p/n 4239588 up to VIN #2020000, p/n 4662359 from VIN 202001
$216 and $299 list, part lookup on genuinesaab.com
$150 on eEuroparts.com (up to VIN # X2020000, $200 after that), and you can put it in yourself with the help of a ratchet, some Liquid Wrench or PB Blaster, and an O2 sensor "open" socket made by Lisle and sold at Sears.
$30-$50 for a 4-wire (heated) Bosch sensor, or $30 for a "universal" 4-wire O2 sensor (ebay etc), if you are willing to cut and splice the Saab cable, the rest is the cost of the connector and those four magic letters on the side... <grin>
