At the end of last summer my 99 auto had the same issues that are happening now that spring is back. When my car is in park or drive and i am stopped at a light or sign. Every 15 seconds or so the cars idle drops to about 500 and then jumps back up again to normal. 15 seconds later it does it again. It did not do this at all over winter.
Last summer i clean the aic, looked to see if there were cracked hoses, put on a fresh di, and plugs. Even techroned my gas tank. My thoughts are could it be the purge valve cannister, map sensor, or hopefully not the fuel pump. One strange thing that happened recently is that i just got all my pixels back on my sid and the date was reset to Jan. Could that help determine the cause? All thoughts are welcome. Thanks
