Headgasket woe followup

I just wanted to followup as folks here have been helpful. With coolant
leaking from corner of the head gasket on my 1999 9-3 base, I had contacted
SAAB USA. With 85K on my car they will do nothing to help me. I did
tell I've taken it to all my scheduled services etc. From this I can conclude that:
a.) Despite it being a known problem here (the head bolt may be loose) SAAB
USA does not want to own up to the problem as the fleet ages.
b.) As the warranty states then, the seals on my motor are good for 50K. It
was naive of me to think the engine seals would last longer.
c.) With not even some partial help offered for the repair SAAB is not interested too much in keeping me as a customer. It was naive, or foolish
of me to expect any help after 50K.
I'd like to thanks the folks at SAABNET though. With any luck I can get an
independent to fix it and I'll be able to keep the car. I had wanted to
keep it a long time...sigh.
