We live in an area that gets snow in the winter, so I purchased a set of 15" alloy rims to use with all-season tires from mid-Oct to mid-May. When we first put on the new wheels (using 195/60-15s), all the road imperfections disappeared. No more harsh vibrations or needing to steer around wheel-grabbing ruts.
If you never see snow (& don't need the extra traction of a 15" winter tire), then changing to a taller 16" tire (Mike's suggestion) may be the best option for you. Don't forget that your speed will show lower than actual with the taller tires on. I think this can be reset via Tech 2.
