2001 9-3: Severe acceleration problems from idle

I purchased my 2001 9-3 (automatic transmission) used from a dealer in March 2004. This is its third time in the shop.
Our newest problem is the CEL and Transmission light turning on, coupled with severe acceleration problems when starting from an idle. It gradually works its way up to full speed, but the hesitation is annoying and unsafe. This tends to happen every other trip. We've also experienced the "blue smoke" issue upon start-up, as discussed elsewhere on this site.
Just spoke to the dealer's mechanic - he's had the car for 2 days and cannot recreate the problem. He also can't find any codes stored in the system from the CEL and trans lights. So, all they can do at this point is to replace the Turbo to address the smoke problem.
Anyone know what's up with the acceleration problem? My faith in this car is dwindling and I don't want to get stranded again.
By the way, over the past two months the fuel injection computer has been reprogrammed, then replaced on a future visit, the DI cassette has been replaced, and new spark plugs were put in.
Help!
