I've got a 2001 Viggen (in T.O.) and from new it would clunk loudly like a spring breaking...after 4 visits to the dealer and lots of cursing and discussions with TAC and the DSM (AZM in the US)the problem resolved.
It would ONLY make the noise when the momentum shifted ie: in the morning when accelerating very hard it would clunk on launch, then if I braked hard it would clunk again...but 2 launches or 2 brakes in a row would produce nothing only when the momentum shifted opposingly from previous clunk. It came down to an engine mount needing replacing.

If it's not the bulletin, it may very well be this.
