I'm completely bummed. After a year of searching, I finally found and bought a '99 Vig in immaculate condition with only 22k miles. I should say "formerly immaculate" condition.
On my way back from Pittsburgh last night, I got stuck on the ohio turnpike during a fairly nasty hail storm. I tried to pull off under an overpass before the hail started, but other cars beat me to it.
Result: many (about 15-20) small paint chips on the hood, roof, and front fenders. The chips are a little bigger than a ball point pen tip, but pretty noticeable with the white undercoat vs. blue paint.
Anyone know if the chips could be touched up and buffed out, or am I looking at needing everything painted? Any ideas on $$$?
Thanks,
Sam
