the car in the event of a slide or spin by individually braking each wheel. Like Adam said, it won't break laws of physics to help you, and I personally am of the opinion that a driver who understands how a car operates in different conditions can control a car just as well (or better) than ESP anyways. I haven't found ESP that useful in my car, even in the snow, although it is fun to slide around in and feel the car try to straighten itself out. You should go on a rainy / snowy day into a parking lot and test your car first before taking it to the nurbrugring. oh and you can familiarize yourself with the nurburgring on Gran Turismo 4 hehe. it's a blast to drive, even in the video game.
