A couple of years ago, I looked into Viggen rims. From what I understand, and I may very well be mistaken, the ModaR1 rims that Tirerack sells are from the same Italian manufacturer that supplies Saabs rims. However, the Saab center-cap will not fit into the Moda rim and the Moda rims are not hubcentric, meaning that a cenering ring is required. I ordered them and mounted them on the car. I ended up keeping the tires, but sending back the rims. The Moda rims had a 35mm positive offset and the stock Viggen rims, if I remember correctly have a 42mm positive offset. The Moda rims were jutting out too far fromt the wheel well....could have caused an issue with snagging the rear fender lip where it rolls under (ask me how I know!!). I ended up getting some nice rims from Ronal....nice wheels, correct offset, hubcentric fit, etc.
