I figured brake cleaner would be OK since there are so many rubber seals around the wheels and calipers and it's residue free(didn't actually say plastic friendly). It's funny that the MAF (P0101) went away. I used an Actron code reader. I will check the O2's wiring... I didn't like the looks of the connector by the TB(closest to TB). Its tiny wires were pulled at a right angle and the connecter was no longer anchored in the bracket. I couldn't really reroute them. They didn't have tension on them but were laid over flat coming off the top of the connector. That's the one that was discolored. Looked like dried dirty water had been sitting in the contact area. I have washed my engine twice.
One other note for others: The fancy cover on top of the engine has worn into one of my hard vaccuum lines where there is a rib under the cover. It's not through yet but a deep nick.... Thanks
