Turbo Boost Issues

I recently purchased a 1999 9-3 SE HOT with 120,000 miles on it. The only modifications to it are a K&N air filter and the Saab Sport Exhaust. When driving today, I noticed that I had very little boost. In first gear, the turbo gauge made it to the edge of the green, and second and third gears would take the needle to just below the middle of the yellow. Normally, the needle would have gone at least 3/4 of the way into the yellow. After noticing this, I even attempted to accelerate rapidly in first gear, with no change in turbo behavior. I have searched for and read some of the posts concerning lack of boost and did some of the things they recommended, such as seeing if any of the hoses are loose (they seem firmly attached to me). I filled the gas tank with 93 octane this past Friday with gas from a different station than had been in there before (still a brand name station, but I am off at school right now and so will not be filling up the car at the station it has normally been to near my house). The car drove fine all weekend. I drove it more aggressively than normal on Saturday (turbo fully spooled in first through third gears), but it seemed fine both Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. I know that the previous owner replaced the spark plugs at about 80,000 miles with NGK's. I am just looking for any feedback that might help narrow down what might be wrong with the car. Thanks very much in advance.
