Nothing is worst than when a new part is faulty.
That still doesn't answer why the first original master cylinder had problems after the accident?
I see very few failing master cylinders on todays cars (early 90 and up cars) compared to what we used to see.
Don't know if the introduction of ABS system had something to do with it and made the manufacturers use better quality rubber in cylinders.
Maybe by a freak coincidence, the original master cyl had a slight problem too from factory?
