My 9/3 failed and switched to limp home mode. The codes were indicative of throttle body issues which a local service manager advised me to replace. Car was fine for a month or so, but the CEL kept coming on. Seems, one problem cleared and three others popped up. P1110, P1312, and P1334. Not only that, but the car now stumbles badly, only on occasion. I fear I have a lemon as the vehicle was purchased new and had problems from day one. Clutch slipped badly as I drove it home from the dealership on day one. It has chattered ever since. Am told this is normal. At 5,000 miles, the car shut off at 70 mph on route 95 in traffic. I thought I had hit the key by accident. This is now part of the current problem and happens with increasing regularitiy. The turbo failed at 5,000 miles and dealer finally did something about it at 35,000 miles. Car was run down to 1 quart of oil several times on trips. It was going through 1 qt. every 3-400 miles.
It's been fine since, but is now starting to leak again. Am told by the dealer that the engine should be fine. Sure. I have four 1986 900's with a total of over 1,000,000 miles. I'll feel lucky if this POS makes 100K. Last new car I ever buy. But I digress, does anyone know what the secret non-published codes P1110, P1312, P1334 represent?
Thank you in advance.
