hey all
was just looking at the mechanics listings for new jersey...wasn't sure what to make of them...can i get some more opinions? my mom just bought a used 9-3. she is in a neighboring suburb of trenton. wanted to know if anyone could give me some good recommendations for a place. there is an issue with the a/c unit possibly small electrical or just the knob but she also needs a full service saab specialist that isn't a dealer to maintain the car at regularly. she has had bad mechanic/service experiences in the past and i'd love to find that perfect match of a place where they enjoy their work, are honest, have the necessary tools/systems and are saab specialists, as well as costing lower than dealer svc rates. i am not familiar with nj to know which places are within 45minutes of the burbs of trenton. hope i am not dreaming.
one more quick question- she likes to put 93-94 octane gas in her cars....i agreed that would be good for the car but wanted to ask- what is best for a 9-3 (think it's the lpt...because it's not the hot)? used to be my cousin's car...filled it up with low 87 or 89 i think--does that freak the computer out? or bad for the car/engine? car has 60k miles and no real issues yet. think it's a '99. thanks so much for any suggestions/etc.
