I had new tires put on and that seemed to clear up the vibration on
acceleration (or on the gas) at 55+.
I still notice some vibration on braking at high speeds...first guess
would be a warped rotor but front pads and rotors are quite new. Could still
be the back rotors that are older. Like you though, I suspect a inner driver type problem. I could start replacing rotors but the fronts are
very new..it also doesn't happen all the time.
Let us know what you find to be the problem. I'm living with the slight
braking vibration now. What's funny is both were quite bad before the
new tires and balancing....Off the gas or brake at any speed there is no
vibration. The tires and balancing for me seemed to cure the vibration
on acceleration issue which doesn't make a lot of sense. The vibration on
braking is slight now ..definitely not as bad as before.
