"The right button pops the trunk with 3 long beeps + flashing lights and the left one opens with 2 long beeps or close the doors with 1 long beep."
I believe that is the standard set-up for the USA market at least.
These are the instructions I gave the dealer to have my alarm reprogrammed using the Tech II:
+ Locking doors: Currently - 1 beep with 1 short lights flash; Would like - silent (no beep) with 1 short lights flash.
+ Unlocking doors: Currently - 2 beeps with 3 short lights flash; Would like - silent (no beep) with 3 short lights flash.
+ Unlocking hatch/trunk: Currently - 3 beeps with 1 long lights flash; Would like - 1 beep with 1 long lights flash.
(1 beep makes it easy to tell when the hatch has been opened, even if by accident.)
