well they will swap the old tires out and give me the money back, but they will only sell me michelins to replace them. Thier counter jockey says he has only ever put michelins on saabs and never had a complaint. I wonder why they sold me the toyos in the first place.. they are AWFUL!!! So it looks like I am coughing up an extra $385 on top of the 400 I already paid for some Pilot XGTs, because thos are the only tires made by michelin in a size that will fit my wheels (215/45/17). Although i think they are only H rated.
If this does not solve the problem I will most definately go insane. I wish there was some guarantee this will work, but they didn't find any other problems. The mechanic who did my brakes there, and who has test driven my car several times thinks it has to be the tire, and he has been very patient with my 4 return visits. The tire sure doenst look very round when its spun on the vehicle. If i pay 400 dollars more and it makes no difference I think i will die. I might die anyways because the 400 dollars was supposed to pay for important things like food =P.
Well, thanks for your help! Michelins it is!
