1994 900S 2.3l 5 door
Hey everyone,
My heater fan died about 6 months ago. It went slowly, intermittently, and sometimes smelled like burning electronics / plastic. Thinking it was the blower motor resistor, I almost just went ahead and bought one off eeuroparts, but while I had it in the shop for other things, I had my mechanic check it out. They checked the voltage at the motor, and said it was good and strong right up to the motor, so it must be the motor, not the resistor.
I just wanted to confirm with you all that the motor is the only option, and it couldn't be anything else (doesn't seem like it could be, right?).
Also, I did a regular search, a deans(underscore)install search, and a DRS(underscore)list search for a link to a "how to install a blower motor", but I couldn't find much, if anyone could direct me, I would GREATLY appreciate it. $253.90 at eeuroparts, and how many hours... Thing is, I'm probably going to sell it, or else, I might reconsider, but who would want to buy a car without a blower?
Muchas Muchas Gracias,
-Greg Welch
