Thanks for the responses, guys. There was indeed a lot of rust and dirt in the calipers. I cleaned it all out and sprayed plenty of PB in there. Since both pads on a wheel are on the same brake line, the force on the two pads must be equal...so if there is more rust in one side than the other, it makes sense that the other side will be pressed harder against the rotor and you'll get uneven wear. Put that together with the right side brakes wearing faster than the left, as boramiNYC's dealer suggests, and you've got exactly what I saw.
