Thanks for the tip guys.. I phoned the dealer today, and he told me that it had had the timing cover seal replaced and the head gasket replaced at 23K, (Sometime in 2003) but no PCV mod. I've looked at the Service info from Genuinesaab.com (Thanks VA VA Viggen!)and I can't see any nipples onto my oil filler pipe or white disks in the turbo inlet pipe (Thanks NC Viggen!) as described in the procedure.
It's full again now, and I'll just monitor it, and maybee if it uses too much i'll have to take it in for a checkup! :-(
The dealer did say there was a brand new fix just out that uses some sort of vaccuum box, but its so new he wasn't sure what was involved, or if it was suitable?
Thanks guys.. Good to know there's somewhere with fellow Viggen owners who are keen to lend a hand and friendly support!!
