I'm not sure, are you refering to the tonneau cover which covers the top when it has been lowered? This is the common failure (ie, tonneau motor) for these cars. If so it is important that you do not attempt to lower the top any more until you have made repairs, as further and expensive damage can occur. If this seems to be the problem, email me and I will send you instructions for repair. I have sent them to others who have successfully repaired their tops, as I have. The parts are inexpensive and available from the dealer and others. (Some dealers will not volunteer the info that you can do an $8 dollar DIY repair instead of forking about $1,500 over to them to repair more than you need.) Steve.
