Blue smoke after oil change?

I have a 2000 base model 9-3 with auto tranny and 60,000 miles.
At about 48,000 miles I started getting blue smoke on cold startup. The dealer said it was "normal", so I let it go. I had been using Saab semi-syn oil for the lif eof the car.
At about 50,000 miles, I switched to Mobil 1 0W-40 with a SAAB oil filter. I still had blue smoke at cold startups, which I expected.
At 55,000 miles, I had the oil changed with Mobil 1 0W-40 and a Mobil 1 Oil Filter. The blue smoke stopped as if I had flipped a switch. It was gone. I even had other people start the car while I watched - no smoke.
I figured the detergents in the 0W-40 had cleaned up something and/or the 0W-40 had an ability to squeeze through coked up area of the turbo.
Then I changed the oil at 60,000 miles. Again, I used Mobil 1 0W-40 and a Mobil 1 filter. The blue smoke is now back as if I had flipped a switch. It didn't slowly come back. It was immediately back in full force and has been back for about a week.
What's up with that? I can't figure how the oil change would have made this happen. Coincidence?
I did cut the old Mobil 1 filter apart looking for sludge bits. The filter was dirty, but I didn't see any chunks.
Thanks for helping solve this conundrum.
