If so, it sounds like it might be the IDM or maybe a fuel pump.
You can easily reach the fuel pump wiring under back seat and below a round cover. Well there you use a test light (found at any auto stores) and check for voltage at the black/green wire when cranking over the car.
If you have no voltage back at the fuel pump connector it is neither the IDM or the fuel pump but something else.
If you have voltage at the pump and you hear the pump buzzing, my guess goes toward the IDM.
