I am using Koni Sport shocks and struts with stock springs on my 1998 900SET. I think it is a very nice compromise of good ride and good handling.
If you don’t already have the 22mm rear sway bar and the steering rack brace, you might want to consider them as they really make the chassis much more responsive.

-Infinity Kappa speakers – 3.5” 2-way speakers in the dash, 6”x9” 3-way speakers in the rear parcel shelf, and 6.5” mid-bass speakers in the front doors.
-Dynamat ‘Super’ & Dynamat ‘Premium’ sound deadening material in doors and rear cargo area.
