Get Kumho 711's
You can get them for arounjd $75/tire depending on the width of Viggen wheels. I own a 99 9-3 and a 95 BMW M3 and I have always run Kumho 711's on my M3 and other RWD BMWs ... I love them. They last a good bit longer than most (320 treadware rating) and they have strong sidewalls and great traction.
Unlike a lot of other cheap tires they don't turn to crap once they get a bit of use.
I just a few days ago bought a set of 17" OEM EVO wheels for my 9-3 and bought a set of 215/45/17 Kumhos for $300 shipped for the set of 4. The viggen wheels probably use 225/45s and they were $320 shipped for the set. Not bad at all IMO for real good tires.
If you are willing to spend a little extra (I think around $400-450 shipped for a set from tire-rack) you should REALLY get Kumho Ecsta ASX all seasons. They are an INCREDIBLE tire with excellent rain/snow/dry traction and hella good tread life to boot.
Thats long, but it should help ... I wouldn't get Hankook's (Came on my M3 when I bought it and I thought they had weak sidewalls)
