I guess that I could have been wrong about the overcharge as mentioned in the earlier post. I was checking the pressure when the engine was still very warm from a drive, Im guessing that the actual under hood temps and the radiant heat from the engine was making the surrounding area 100+ estimated. This morning I decided to test again on a cool engine. At 77F with cool underhood temps im getting 35 psi. However, the A/C still isnt that good. I remember the A/C in my dads old 1970 MB 280SE used to practically spit out ice cubes it was so cold. I realize thats probably an R12 system. Still, I cant believe that A/C technology has decreased in the last 30 years from there. Does the Saab just have a poorly designed system or do you think that there must be some other issues? Do you still think that I might be overcharged?
